I found a piece of wood displayed in a building nearby KAKEI. The description read that this wood was unearthed from the site and was estimated to be 18,000 years old. If I remember correctly , this area was landfilled in Edo period. Could it be that there was a land here before that? Checking an old map, I noticed that KAKEI is located on the edge of a peninsula called “Edo Maejima”. In front of KAKEI, there must have been a wide shallow sea, tiny boats floating, and islands shining in the morning lights. We just updated the "NEW ARRIVAL NEWS".
